Every Child is Worth Saving

The choice between life and death, blessings and curses, whether to end child sacrifice or allow babies to continue to be tortured to death - the choice to end the holocaust is pretty simple for most Christ followers. Allowing one child to be sacrificed for any reason is one child too many. Every child is worth saving.

For too long, we've accepted the lie that we have to be incremental in our approach and participate in sacrificing children to win elections and the approval of others. This is wicked.

It is evil to allow any child to be sacrificed for any reason. We must repent of our wickedness and apathy. We need the grace of Jesus for our sinful words, behaviors, and attitudes that have opposed the command of God, "thou shalt not kill (murder innocent human beings).".

God has given us clear instruction how to deal with the sin and idolatry of child sacrifice through His written word, The Holy Bible. And He is giving us clear direction in how to lead our state on the rock of obedience to God's Word. As the old hymn we used to sing, "all other ground is shifting sand". We are to hold up His banner of truth so those on the slippery slope to death and destruction can find it.

We must lead differently as Christians than the secular organizations and career politicians. We must speak the whole truth every time and call people to act on what we say we believe - that every child is valuable and that abortion kills a living human being.

We are not called to follow public opinion, but to lead it. We are called to be faithful and obedient regardless the outcome. And we are called to please Christ rather than men. 

This is not a political issue to be left to politicians, but a moral and spiritual battle over the souls of adults and lives of children.
