It's Not About Abortion? Words Matter. Truth Matters.

Most people have an opinion about abortion but don't know what an abortion is. So let's be clear, abortion intentionally ends the life of a child. Abortion dismembers, scalds, stabs, poisons, or starves a child to death.

To 'terminate a pregnancy' requires killing a child. As long as a child is living, the pregnancy will continue. We want to protect children from being tortured to death. We want to end child sacrifice.

What is an 'unborn' child? Every child will be born, living or dead. So, every child is a 'preborn' child. We are protecting preborn children so they can be born.

And we are not just protecting women. When a woman chooses to engage in activity resulting in pregnancy, she is a mother. We are protecting mothers from being exploited, deceived, and violated by abortionists.

A mother who want what's best for her child may choose the parenting option of Modern Adoption to give her child a better life than she can give. Adoption is a very loving choice. Mothers do not 'give up' their children for adoption. Mothers choose loving parents to raise her child and decide how involved she would like to be in her child's life. The only time a mother 'gives up' her child is if she allows her child to be taken from her through abortion.

This initiative is not about abortion. It is about stopping the practice of mutilating and intentionally killing children. When the other side uses the word 'enshrine' and the word 'abortion' they are wanting us to respect the act of child sacrifice.

Words matter. The words we listen to. And the words we speak. Are we repeating the words of the enemy that speak fear, deceit, and speculation? Or, are we repeating the Words of God that are life-giving, filled with grace and truth?
