Our Stories

Faye was a successful CEO of the largest pregnancy care center geographically in the United States and Colorado when she was asked - and began seeking Scripture and praying - about putting forward a people's initiative in Colorado.

A women's advocate of nineteen years helping women who had survived sexual assault, partner violence, the trauma of abortion,

and having walked alongside hundreds of women experiencing overwhelming challenges while pregnant, Faye also served for seven of those years in a federal think tank on the co-occurrence of adult and child violence. She ministered on staff and as a volunteer for four pregnancy care centers in two states since the 1980's.

While going to school as a pre-law student, she interned as an aid at the Colorado State Capitol and in media. She often worked multiple jobs as a single parent, which uniquely equipped her for her current role, including an inside look into the medical field. She continued post graduate work in Organizational Leadership and pursued a career in communications for international ministries while serving as a Director on several Boards.

Faye is now married with an adopted special needs son and several grandchildren, including a grandson who needed life-saving surgery at birth. She has been a follower of Jesus Christ since asking Him to forgive her sins and come into her life as a small child in the church where her father pastored. Walking alongside and listening to hundreds of women, Faye became aware of the need to make child sacrifice illegal in order to protect children as well as their mothers. After nine months of dedicated prayer concerning an initiative in Colorado, the Lord opened her eyes to the need for a just law that God can bless. Faye volunteers full-time to put an initiative before the state, facilitate the state Task Force, and inform Coloradans through the website, blogs, printed materials, and weekly email updates.

Angela is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. A student of Scripture and follower of Christ, she is a Catholic seminary graduate and teaches Catechism to youth at her church. She is the wife of a flight paramedic and mother of three teenagers who enjoys camping and spending time with her family. She volunteers for the local pregnancy center and for the past five years directed Northeast Colorado's United for Life Walk, an annual event that educated others on the sanctity of life and exhibited the many resources available to help individuals and families in all stages of life from preborn babies to the elderly, and those overcoming physical and emotional handicaps in need of hope along the way. Working with this event led her to realize the deep need for legal protections for our most vulnerable neighbors.

Angela has many years of experience in petition drives. Due to her full-time career, she often provides behind-the-scenes research and support to Task Force and Regional Team volunteers while also helping at booths and personally collecting thousands of signatures across the state. While working full-time and using her evenings, weekends, and vacation time to try to save children, Angela manages her family, raising her children and serving others through her church and occupation. This will be her third election cycle to go before Title Board to give Coloradans an opportunity to protect children.
