Colorado Voting & Abortion Trends

Statewide initiatives and political lobbying can strengthen or weaken the public's and leadership's understanding of the humanity of the children we seek to protect. Looking at the trends in Colorado over the first quarter of this century, we found some surprising trends as indicated in the charts, below.

Children Killed in Colorado

Each time a "personhood" amendment has been placed on the Colorado ballot (2008, 2010, and 2014), abortions decreased by ten percent (10%) in the state. There was a 14% decline in abortion facilities following those efforts. Conversely, when a late-term abortion ban was proposed  in 2020, abortions increased in the state by four percent (4%).

Voter Response to Life Initiatives

Public record shows that each time a life initiative has been placed on the Colorado ballot, more Coloradans have voted "yes" for life!

According to Pew Research, 61% of all Colorado adults attend a church at least several times per year. Of the 45% of churchgoers who do not vote, we need less than 20% of them to pass a life amendment. In a fair election, if churchgoers would vote - and vote Biblically - we could pass any initiative in the state! â€‹
