Repeal 79

REPEAL 79 (:60 second video)

Repeal 79

It is a biological and theological fact that we are living human beings from the moment we are conceived. Amendment 79 removed any protections from these children and opened the door for more than $5 million dollars in Colorado taxpayer funds to pay for abortion torture of preborn children all nine months of pregnancy within the state and coming from other states.

Currently, preborn children are only protected in the state of Colorado to the degree that their mothers choose to protect them. The many layers of natural protections given by God to protect children - including fathers, marriage, church, community and law - have been stripped away, as the ability to murder a preborn child by any mother and any abortionist - for any reason or no reason at all other than they want to- is protected by law as a so-called "right" in the state Constitution, leaving preborn children unprotected.

To close death facilities and legally stop the slaughter of innocent children requires a change to the Colorado Constitution. Only the people of Colorado may change our state constitution through a ballot initiative. A ballot initiative requires signatures from each Senate District across the state to get the issue onto the ballot in front of Colorado voters.

After more than a year of persistent efforts before the state, we were finally granted at the last possible moment the ability to gather signatures from Colorado voters to get a repeal onto the Colorado ballot. Below, is a photo of the Repeal of 79 that we are putting forward in the state. With your help, we are praying and working in faith to get this onto this year's ballot November 2026 to go into effect December 25, 2026.

The repeal of 79 will get legalized murder - the execution of innocent children - out of our Colorado Constitution. While this direct repeal of Amendment 79, the abortion amendment, will not end abortion in Colorado, it will get abortion out of our state Constitution. This is the first step toward legally ending child sacrifice in our state to protect all children.

As God's timing would have it, petitions are ready for distribution since Mother's Day.

According to the polls:

  • According to Scott Bottoms' gubernatorial campaign, 40% of Colorado voters who voted for 79 did not understand that they were allowing our tax funds to pay for abortion.

  • Voters observed a 60/40 percent split down the Colorado ballot on every issue, a trend that is not characteristic of actual voters, indicating that we may not know how Coloradans actually voted in the last election cycle.

  • According to Pew Research, more than half of churchgoers did not vote in the last election cycle.

  • According to Pew Research, more than 50% of Colorado adults attend church or identify as Christian.

  • We need only 50% plus one vote to pass a direct repeal in the state.

  • If Coloradans attending church and identifying as a Christian vote - and vote Biblically - Christians could pass any initiative in the state.

With all the conservative momentum this election cycle, everyone voting on the life issue and for life-affirming candidates can vote for other conservative issues, as well!

The state Task Force has organized the state by Regional Teams of volunteer circulators who will work to fill as many petitions as possible as quickly as possible in churches and communities so that we can keep a running total of signatures. Our goal for the state is 5,000 volunteers. Every Senate District needs at least 125 petitions filled and turned into the Co-Proponents before July 27, 2026.

With 50% plus one vote in November, this repeal will go into effect December 25, 2026.
