New Strategy from Ancient Source

We have this unique window of opportunity with the current President, and a conservative Congress and Supreme Court, that we have not had in the past fifty years. In coming back to God during our 250th Anniversary, this is a great time to repent of the current holocaust and enforce the U.S. Constitution as it was intended, and as our Pledge of Allegiance asserts, "with liberty and justice for all".

While our strategy seems "new" in terms of "prolife" strategy, it is derived from the oldest manuscript in the world. That's why I would say it is not "prolife" strategy, but rather a natural expression of Christian theology in the age-old fight between good and evil. While the political trend is to appear clever and wise and only act when guaranteed a win, we are called as believers to be obedient and faithful and leave the results up to Him. Here are some of the ideas in a nutshell.

Match policy to educational efforts. When educational efforts are teaching the biological and theological fact that our lives begin when we are conceived, then our actions in policy should reflect that. By matching policy to educational efforts, we grow momentum and prevent having to re-educate. The concept comes from the New Testament, including "speaking the truth in love" (Eph 4:15), that faith without action is not faith at all (James 1), "you will know them by their fruits" (Matt 7:20), and Jesus' parable of the man who builds his house on the rock (Matt 7:24), to name a few. Not to match action with words is hypocrisy. The worst of it is that without matching action, people will not pay attention to the words. Actions speak louder than words.

Put forward just law that God can bless. Unjust laws - for which God judges nations - protect some children while allowing other children to die (sacrificing them on the altar of political gain). Putting forward law that allows an innocent child to die causes us to be guilty of child sacrifice ourselves. We must put forward just laws that do not condemn any innocent human being to die. There are many references to just and unjust laws as God instructed His people in moral civil law in the first several books of the Old Testament, including "thou shalt not murder". There are no exceptions for age, developmental ability, size, dependance, or birth status in that command.

Lead public opinion rather than follow it. We lead with policy. We don't have to shy away from the biological and theological fact that we are each living human beings from the moment we are conceived. Children deserve the protection of parents and the law from the moment children are conceived. While politicians follow and fall further and further downstream from public opinion, we stand like a shining city on a hill (Matt 5:14). We are called to follow God rather than men (Acts 5:29).

Protecting "the least of these" in law and action stems naturally from Christianity. In fact, that's how God separates "the sheep from the goats" (Matthew 25). It is up to the body of Christ to protect the youngest and most vulnerable children. Anyone who doesn't know Christ - no matter how much they may think they want to protect children - do not know how. Listening to "the god of this age" who will not tell them the truth, the evil one who instructs them is not going to tell them how to defeat evil or end child sacrifice, only how to compromise with it (2 Cor 4:4). Someone can seem like a really good person, a great leader, a savvy politician, and even attend church, but without the Holy Spirit guiding them into all truth (Jn 16:13), they will not treat "the least of these" as if they are treating Christ.
