At the Mercy of God

Updated: 2 days ago

I've refrained from writing this for awhile now. But silence in the face of evil is still evil. And I can be silent no more.

Those in power in the state of Colorado are abusing power to override the people's initiative. Just as they've silenced our voice in elections. And ignore us at the state capitol.

The injustice is being paid by the blood of the innocent. Colorado will be judged for this holocaust.

We know the last election does not reflect Coloradans. Since voting machines flipped the state from red to blue overnight, we don't actually know how Coloradans have voted.

Last election cycle, the state lied to voters about the fiscal impact of the unconstitutional abortion amendment, made no mention of a repeal of protections for taxpayers in the title, and gave no definition of abortion in its amendment. And it arguably violated 'the single subject rule' that other initiatives are required to follow.

This election cycle, we have put forward seven proposed amendments. From a single sentence to two pages of explanation, all have been denied or appealed. One went as far as the Colorado Supreme Court where we prepared forty-five pages of legal argument.

The opposition is so afraid our amendment can pass in Colorado that they are not even letting it get through the state bureaucracy to gather signatures.

While the three bureaucrats looked at our longest version with the full-page declaration and a second page of application, the chair read from a script that said it was "too vague".

Pastors with Pastors For Life have also put forward an amendment that simply defines "persons" as beginning at conception. Their amendment has also been appealed.

We have spoken to both the ACLJ and ADF who say we have a great case to take to federal court because we were denied equal protection of the laws.

The injustices are fueled by greed, even by those who should want to end abortion, as they are receiving grants and prioritize fundraising over the lives of children.

God gave us an opportunity to correct the injustices in our state. And most of us didn't care enough to take it when we had the opportunity.

We have heard, "it's not the right time, yet" from those who campaign, fundraise, and take salaries from generous prolife donors. When abortion ends, they fear losing their jobs (and funds). (Even though there are other worthy causes they could pivot attention.)

I am amazed by the cowardice of men who should be defending the innocent. Of those who call themself 'prolife' but only want to regulate which babies we kill.

The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.

Now, it appears too late. Unless God miraculously intervenes. We have fought as far as we can fight.

The argument against us by opponents is that our amendment will override abortion, so the state will not let it through.

This is unconstitutional in both Colorado and federal law. The offices of the Secretary of State and Attorney General defy the laws of man and God.

Yet, God keeps giving me Psalm 37. All of it.

We live in a Marxist state at the mercy of God.
