Open letter to colleagues focusing on late term abortions

Dear Respected Colleague,
Have you considered a marketing campaign to change public opinion that includes the humanity of the child in the first trimester and ultrasounds of these tiny children moving away from abortion instruments before they even enter fetal development? Maybe getting some prolife slogans out there?
Chasing public opinion is a losing battle because Scripture says, "men will go from bad to worse". Jesus said, we reap what we sow. Do you want to only save babies from late term abortion? Why would you focus efforts on what you say everyone already agrees on? Planting the seeds we want to harvest grows momentum and will reap great reward. Jesus even promises we will reap if we do not give up.
We have this unique window of opportunity with the current President, and a conservative Congress and Supreme Court, that we have not had in the past fifty years. In coming back to God during our 250th Anniversary, this is a great time to repent of the current holocaust and enforce the U.S. Constitution as it was intended, and as our Pledge of Allegiance asserts, "with liberty and justice for all".
We need to pursue all avenues that lead to life - the President, Legislature, and Judiciary. Praying, informing, and changing law. A house divided cannot stand. It is not helpful to tell people that have a different focus in solving the problem that it is a mistake, simply because they use a different strategy than you have tried.
From a Christian and Biblical standpoint in the body of Christ, we cannot condone one child to die. Child sacrifice of even one child is an abomination to the Lord. Even on the altar of political expediency or "winning". It does not matter if the size of the child makes it "obvious" to the average person who has no training in this that we should protect them. When we educate the public and lead by example, it should be equally obvious that the same child just weeks earlier should be protected.
By matching our policy to our educational efforts, we grow momentum and prevent having to re-educate. We prevent the loss of life to unjust laws - for which God judges nations. And we escape the temptation to participate in child sacrifice ourselves when we create unjust laws that protect some children while allowing other children to die (sacrificing them on the altar of political gain). People hear our actions much more loudly than our words.
It is just as easy to protect all children as a few - and equally difficult. We have a brief opportunity to save these children that we may not have in another generation, if ever. Public opinion is fickle. But truth is immovable. And God's judgment is inevitable for nations that enact unjust law.
By saving late term babies, you are condemning younger babies to die. There's no need to do that. The only way to defeat this evil is to be on the side of what is right, in order to have God's blessing. We cannot win if God directly opposes the efforts we put forward that show partiality and injustice, because God hates it. We cannot save a few babies, but we can save all of them with God's help. It involves speaking and working in faith in a God of the possible, not based on what people think. We cannot defeat evil by compromising with it and thereby participating in the evil ourselves.
Because this is not a political issue - this is a righteousness issue - leaders must lead, not just do what the people want. We must serve God rather than men.
Please do not make the mistake of standing against righteous efforts of repentance that will accomplish what you say is your ultimate goal. Capitulation and compromise with evil cannot end this current holocaust. But obedience to Christ and His Word in how we treat the least of these will.
Only God knows how to defeat evil. As you know, allowing the killing of even one small child is evil. When we allow it, we participate in the pagan ritual of child sacrifice. It is not the will of the Father that even one child should perish. Incremental strategy is not the only approach, and there's no proof that it will work. There is proof throughout the Old Testament of the Bible that when the people returned to God, they took down the high places of idol worship and stopped the practice of child sacrifice. We need to repent fully for what we have done in killing these children. What we have done to the least of these, Jesus says we have done to Him.
We can lead public opinion rather than follow it. We can lead with policy. We don't have to shy away from the biological and theological fact that we are each living human beings from the moment we are conceived. Children deserve the protection of parents and the law from the moment children are conceived.
To be a leader means to lead, not follow what others think. I pray you will seek the Lord and written Scriptures on God's opinion on this. We are not in this to win, because we know we have already won, we're in this to be faithful and obedient to what God has called each of us to do which is to speak the truth in love. The whole truth and nothing but the truth. That every child is worth saving. And every child deserves a birthday.
Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly." I pray you have asked Jesus to be your personal Savior and Lord. When someone first told me all this, I wrestled with God for awhile over it. I pray God will use this to encourage you and exhort you to dream bigger, reach higher, and dare to ask for more. "Ask and it will be given unto you, seek and you shall find. Knock and the door will be opened unto you."
Isaiah 10:1-3
Woe to those who enact unjust statutes
and issue oppressive decrees,
to deprive the poor of fair treatment
and withhold justice from the oppressed of My people,
to make widows their prey
and orphans their plunder.
What will you do on the day of reckoning
when devastation comes from afar?
To whom will you flee for help?
Where will you leave your wealth?
Isaiah 5:20-23
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
and clever in their own sight.
... who acquit the guilty for a bribe
and deprive the innocent of justice.
Proverbs 24:23
To show partiality in judgment
is not good.
Deut. 16:19-20
Do not deny justice or show partiality. Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous. Pursue justice, and justice alone, so that you may live, and you may possess the land that the LORD your God is giving you.
Proverbs 17:15
Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent-- the LORD detests them both.
